WT has installed remote monitoring and control systems for 26 years in locations ranging from major cities and Naval Reserve Fleets around the United States, to remote villages in Central America, the Yukon River, and Alpine lakes in Alaska. If the site can be reached, WT guarantees successful data acquisition systems; the system has to work well or we don’t go home.
Collecting accurate, timely, and reliable data is a big deal for Watch Technologies, regardless of its end-use for display, storage, and control. Good data collection requires solidly constructed, well thought through, accurate, and well protected collection stations installed to withstand very high environmental abuse specific to a site. This applies to remote surface water flow stations, as well as equipment in industrial settings. WT delivers data by the Internet, direct radio-link, cellular and hard-line telephone system, hard-wire, or manual on-site collection; whichever is required.
Watch Technology’s completed projects vary greatly–from collecting single point well or canal flow, high-density ship-wide monitoring of fleets of large Naval and Merchant marine vessels, and center-pivot operations data collection on large farms. Experience installing systems in a very wide variety of circumstances, sizes, locations, and applications permits WT to perform successfully and cost-efficiently just about anywhere. WT deploys appropriately installed data collection and site-specific control equipment tailored to each project. Watch Technologies is always vigilant to re-deploy proven assemblies; there is no need to re-invent the wheel for every project. But, when we do, we invent what we need in our manufacturing facility or on-site in portable shops. Many of our products started out as client-specific equipment particularly suited to SCADA installations and operations, such as theSmart Split-Gate and the WiSI Mini RTU.
