It will monitor multiple CP reference cells and other sensors, communicate data by radio to a central station, control on-site equipment or systems as required and never need a battery, offering a savings of 75% or more over other data collection and radio reporting systems.
The WiSI Mini RTU™ (Wireless Sensor Interface RTU) is perfect for pipelines where CP effectiveness monitoring over long distances is critical because WiSI Mini RTU™ units can be repeaters sending data along the pipeline to data accumulators linked to a Base Station in a variety of ways including RF, satellite, or hard-wire. Buried or surface tank applications can be easily and cheaply monitored since the WiSI Mini RTU™ has a minimum of 2 mile RF range.
